Okay... this whole thing is coming together... I've got someone making my dress
I've got a deposit down at a venue (a re-habbed barn which will also be our caterer).
I've got myself a fabulous photographer who was an incredible deal and just got married to a woman herself.
I sent my grandmother to a tasting with her chef friend and they returned with recommendations.
My mother is gathering antique milk bottles and ocean rocks (she's a kayaker) to create our centerpieces.
My theologian aunt has agreed to be our officiant
I've created our wedding website

Our venue is in western Massachusetts. It's a renovated barn that's owned by a university. We'll do the ceremony outside (if it's not pouring, I guess) under a big tree and then party inside. I'm psyched about it.
I just wanted to say, I'm trying to get over wedding blogs, but dayum! Yours is kinda awesome.
oh, I totally get the whole "trying to get over wedding blogs" thing. A few months ago I had to cut WAY back (it's was a serious problem)... but I've kept the few that I like to follow on my google reader so I can have my fix without going too overboard.
I just stumbled upon your blog and it' adorable. I just married my wife (again).. We married two years ago pre prop 8 in California, and finally had the reception this past Sunday..
